TEAM COMPETITION
INFORMATION
Fees for team
competition: $100.00 per team, per event. (There is no discount for
a second team event!)
One medal is awarded for the entire
team.
BLACK AND UNDER BELT TEAM FORMS
Register Team Forms using one team
member’s information (Usually Team Captain)
Team Forms include males and females
of all ages and under belt ranks and can have as many participants
on the team as wished. Under Belt Team Forms must include one Black
Belt on the team.
UNDER BELT TEAM SPARRING
List each member of the team on a
registration form under one division.
Under Belt Team Sparring has three
members and includes all ranks under Black Belt and each team can
have a member of any capability, novice, intermediate or advanced,
compete within their age range.
In other words, GWN - 138 Boys 9-11,
12-14 and 15-17 will include one member of novice, intermediate or
advanced capabilities in each age group and that member will fight
the other team’s member in the same age group.
BLACK BELT TEAM SPARRING Same as
Under Belt Team Sparring except that all members must be Black Belts
Flip of a coin between team captains
determines who sends in the first competitor.
Accumulated total points at the end
of the matches determines winning team
Ties are broken in overtime by first
point scored by last competing pair (Sudden Death). |
